Alicia & Ben's Engagment Session

05.17.08 - What a magical weekend for Alicia & Ben! Saturday morning, Alicia was preparing for her Graduation from one of the top engineering schools in the country at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Congratulations on the degree! And then, in the afternoon, we had the great opportunity to shoot their engagement session on the RPI campus (where they met). What a great time all around, can't wait for their upcoming wedding!

Another beautiful couple (and super smart as well):

This is the dorm where they met.

Two Views Seminar with Joe & Yervant

05.09.08 - I had a chance to attend the Two Views seminar with Joe Buissink & Yervant, and absolutely loved it. I recommend all to check them out if they are coming to your city. You will love listening to their stories, understand their visions, and be inspired by their absolutely amazing images.

Ann's Bridal Shower

05.03.08 - We were lucky to share the day with Ann, as we attended her Bridal Shower!! There were so many colorful daisies, margaritas, and presents all over the place. I loved the festivity; Everytime I looked up, I saw smiles all around the room from her friends and family. It was easy to tell we were excited for Ann. Although it was our first time meeting her, I knew Ann would be a pleasure to spend time with after checking out her sweet Engagement Photos on my friend Mariann Szucs' Blog. Below are a few delicious photos we captured from the Bridal Shower + a spicy slideshow to go along with it. Enjoy!!

Jessica & Carlo's Engagement!

Yesterday we took a trip to North Bergen, NJ to shoot an engagement session for Jessica and Carlo. We were lucky that they live in such a beautiful part of town, that we were able to do the whole shoot right by their home. After shooting, we went out for some delicious Cuban food at Sabor. They served us some tasty food (especially the chocolate bread pudding). Jess & Carlo are such cool friends, we are so excited about their wedding next year in Costa Rica!!

Look at this gorgeous couple!! : )

Jessica is going to be a stunning bride!

Carlo smooching her cheeks in the streets : )

Showing their love in the park:

This one looks timeless to me:

If Jessica was ever in trouble, Carlo is a super guy who would fly over and rescue her!

Carlo in Action!! I told you this guy is Super!

Asia Trip Part 2: Hong Kong

Now for Part 2 of last night's post... After the 1st week in Taiwan, we went back to Hong Kong to enjoy the beautiful city, eat the HK snacks, and visit Tak's relatives. It was fun photographing the city, Hong Kong has some amazing buildings. We were so lucky to enjoy beautiful weather the whole week.

Tak modeling on the subway : )

& exploring the city:

I love how the clouds complete itself through the reflection in the buildings:

Beautiful view of the city...ooooo:

Hong Kong freeway at night:

This was an awesome location we found in Macau. The Sam Ba Sing Tzik is the remaining front wall of the Sacred Ruins of St Paul's Church:

As Phil was waiting patiently in the hotel room, I grabbed this amazing photo:

Phil & Tak walking the streets of Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong:

Having some photo fun in a shopping mall:

We took this one at the Hong Kong Park:

Us walking around in Macau, the stone streets and tall trees give this location a mysterious feel:

Tsing Ma Bridge at night (Special thanks to Tak's cousin Jack for bringing us to this location):

And a very special moment for us. We are now ENGAGED!! : )

STAK + Phil visit Taiwan for the 1st time!

Wooo we are back! After some very long plane rides, a lot of chinese food, and a bunch of naps; we are back in NYC. What an amazing trip we had... Taiwain... Hong Kong & China. Did I mention the food? It was soooo good.

Airport shot in JFK:

1st night off the plane we stopped by a night market in Taiwan. Take a look:

Next morning we walked to the beach to enjoy some sunshine. Phil took 1 step too many into the water and fell straight in. I wasn't sure if I should give him a hand and help him up, or just take pictures of his foolishness. Well, here are the pics:

Ahhh it was super warm out there. We were in Kenting, Taiwan. Beautiful!

After the beach, we decided to explore the land. We stopped by this spiffy 5 Star Hotel to relax by the pool.

But, it didn't take long for security to stop us and send us packing to our hotel next door :-(

A lot of the kids were coming from Taipei to enjoy the beach. Everybody rides a scooter. They look fun!

Neat little helmet:

Some friends we made while walking around. The guy with the shark is actually named Sharkee!

Last image of the trip before heading to Hong Kong. : )
